About LongMynd Archers
Long Mynd Archers is an archery club based at Church Stretton, Shropshire, England. Nestled in the outstanding beauty of the Shropshire Hills, we specialize in target archery and cater for recurve, compound and longbows. We have a thriving junior section as well as a senior section.
We are proud to currently have 6 Archery GB accredited coaches at various levels, ensuring we can meet the coaching needs of everybody from beginner through to international archer. All Archery GB accredited coaches are enhanced DBS (Formally CRB) checked.
Long Mynd Archers is affiliated to the Shropshire Archery Society, the West Midlands Archery Society and Archery GB.
Venue Outdoors
Our outdoor venue is available to members to shoot daily from May - October, with a few exceptions when it is being used to host tournaments.
We have a large club house with a kitchen c/w running water, toilets, and an equipment maintenance area.

Venue Indoors
Indoor shooting is now possible at our venue at the village of Eaton close to Church Stretton. Shooting times at Eaton are Tuesdays, Thursdays (18.30rs until 20.30hrs) and Sundays (16.30 until 19.30hrs).
Shooting 70m is now possible.

Safeguarding
Longmynd Archers are committed in ensuring that children, young people and adults at risk (vulnerable adults) enjoy archery in a safe environment in which they are protected from any form of poor practice or abuse.
The Committee, volunteers and those who participate in activities run by the club have an understanding of Safeguarding Children, Young People and Adults at Risk and what forms abuse may take. They know where to raise concerns if abuse is suspected or reported.
