FITA Beginners Awards
Well done to all of our juniors who picked up a FITA beginners award in 2009.
JAWS
JAWS or Junior Award Scheme is a ranking system for all juniors. You have to fill in a booklet with all the rounds/competitions you have shot during the year, you get given points for each one depending on score, ranking etc.You then send the booklet to GNAS and you are ranked with all the other juniors in the country that have entered a booklet. I was the only junior in Shropshire to enter in 2008 and got ranked 33rd.If you get ranked within the top 100 you get a badge and certificate. The booklets are downloadable from the GNAS website. An issue has been raised that some Junior Club members may be having difficulties in filling in competition entry forms at the Club. If in doubt, please ask any adult member for help.
